Benbouali officially joins Egyptian side Pyramids FC

Algerian international Nadhir Benbouali has officially joined Egyptian club Pyramids FC, arriving from Hungarian side Győr.
The striker is embarking on a new chapter in his career, hoping to regain his best form and take on a new challenge on the African continent.
Pyramids FC chose an original way to announce the signing, posting a video on its official Facebook account. In the video, Benbouali appears as an ancient warrior riding a horse and heading towards the Pyramids of Giza, symbolizing the arrival of the “Algerian warrior” on Egyptian soil.
The Egyptian club captioned the video: “The Algerian warrior has arrived in the land of the pyramids. Ahmed Nadhir Benbouali at Pyramids.”
Benbouali is a product of the Paradou AC academy. He made his first professional move abroad in the summer of 2022, when he joined Belgian club Charleroi. However, his time in Belgium did not go as expected, and he was subsequently loaned to Hungarian side Győr.
After his loan spell, Győr decided in the summer of 2025 to make the Algerian striker’s transfer permanent. Benbouali continued his career in Europe before now moving to the Egyptian league with Pyramids FC, where he will be looking to make an impact and prove his abilities once again.
